Plone Job - Zope and Plone Developer

This person will work closely with senior developers and clients to design, develop and deploy web based content management systems. Our primary development platform is Zope (with CMF and Plone), which uses the Python language. The majority of our development and deployment is on the Linux platform, but we do support some deployments on Windows.

Experience
- 3-5 years of web programming experience
- development of content management systems
- familiarity with online community and collaboration tools

Responsibilities
- develop new web applications
- support existing client deployments
- perform some minimal server administration
- research emerging web technologies

Skills
- programming with Python (or similar scripting language)
- understanding of object oriented principles
- experience with Zope, CMF, or Plone
- web design with Javascript, HTML, and CSS
- source code version control using subversion
- exposure to database administration using MySQL, or similar database software
- exposure to XML and XSLT
