About Us

We incorporated in Colorado in 1999 as Shift ZZ, Inc., and in September, 2003 began doing business as Core Software Group. Core Software Group was founded by Chris Crownhart to help small, medium, and large companies develop databases and software in order to run more efficient businesses. Today, we focus on building content management systems for intranet, extranet, and internet sites.

 

About Core Software Group

Core Software Group, with the help of partners, has provided consulting services across a broad range of tools and platforms:

  • XML, XSLT, Cocoon2, Tomcat, SOAP

About Chris Crownhart

A graduate of Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, IA, Chris Crownhart has worked on a variety of platforms, and his experience ranges from IBM mainframes programming in PL/I and DB2, to Linux programming in Perl, Python, PHP and XSLT working on systems such as Zope/Plone and Tomcat/Cocoon. He has extensive experience with Remedy's Action Request System on Solaris using an Oracle database.  He has worked primarily with the commercial database Oracle, but also has experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL in various capacities.
